Installation

Upload the pc-announcements-274 folder to your WordPress /wp-content/plugins/ directory
Activate the plugin through the WordPress admin "Plugins" menu
Navigate to "Announcements" in the WordPress admin to create your first announcement

Usage

Creating Announcements

Go to Announcements → Add New in the WordPress admin
Enter a title and message for your announcement
Optionally add an image URL
Set scheduling dates (start/end) if needed
Set the status (active, inactive, or scheduled)
Click "Create Announcement"

Managing Announcements

View all announcements at Announcements → All Announcements
Edit existing announcements by clicking the "Edit" button
Delete announcements using the "Delete" button with confirmation
See real-time status indicators for active announcements

Frontend Display

Announcements automatically appear at the top of all public pages when:

The announcement status is set to "Active"
The current time is within the scheduled start and end dates
The announcement hasn't been dismissed by the user
